LISBON, April 16
FIBI – Association For Immigrants, By Immigrants – is pleased to announce the launch of free playgroup sessions for immigrant mothers and their babies (0–36 months) in Marvila. The sessions are intended to offer a friendly, safe, and interactive environment where mothers can bond with their children, learn through play, and connect with other families in the community.
The playgroup sessions will be held twice a week, completely free of charge. They will aim to promote early childhood development and offer much-needed social support for mothers navigating a new country. On the agenda are singing, stories, games, and sensory play – all with young children and their carers in mind.
The project is multicultural and multilingual and is open to mothers from all backgrounds.
This is a wonderful opportunity for immigrant mothers who live in Marvila to get together, share experiences, and support one another while their small ones grow and learn in a secure environment.
